This is a macroscan of an insect specimen Giant Iridescent Hornet - (Megascolia velutina ducalis). An incredible creature with beautiful iridescent wings. Megascolia is a genus of large solitary wasps from the family Scoliidae, the species classified under Megascolia include some of the world's largest wasps. It is a species found in Sulawesi, Indonesia. can be either geometry based or splat based depending on the application - This version has been reconstructed as a splat.
